1 Tell us more about how you became interested in WordPress, what about it drives your continued interest?
Back in 2010, I was never a big fan of WordPress but after giving it a shot for my personal website I actually fell in love with it. The ease with which I could create new themes and build more features was absolutely brilliant. Though I have stopped using it for my personal blog because it was a little too heavy, I still continue to use it for other projects because I can build great admin features for the clients.
2 Can you share your favourite WP Plugin with us.
My favorite plugin would be Jetpack. I feel it’s the best plugin you can get your hands dirty with because it already has a horde of features that you really really need for making any great website.
3 Can you share your favorite WP theme with us.
As for themes, I never really pick a favorite because they are very opinionated. My favorite theme would be The Return of Minimalistic Me which was my blog’s previous theme before I shifted to Jekyll. Other than my hand coded theme, I would definitely suggest Bones as a great framework for building WP sites.
4 Is WordPress an effective platform for getting your message across?
The answer to the question is a no-brainer. I don’t think that there is any other platform as simple and awesome as WP for building websites that require a large number of features. WP does the work really well and it’s the most simple platform to pick up. Be it blogging or even advanced websites, WP should definitely be in your armory.
