1 Tell us more about how you became interested in WordPress, what about it drives your continued interest?
About 4-5 years ago, when WordPress was 2.4 and 2.5, I stumbled upon it crusing from Joomla (that I hated), to Drupal (that I loved but my clients got overwhelmed by, unless I built a custom admin panel). I was floored by the simple content structure, database structure, ease of use and theming. The simplicity of WordPress was what attracted me to it and continues to occupy my interest. To start someone off on WordPress in any capacity, author, user, designer or developer is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

My favourite WordPress theme or rather theme framework is rtPanel (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/rtpanel).
4 Is WordPress an effective platform for getting your message across?
It is simple, it is powerful and can be extended for advanced social propagation. So, yes it is an effective platform to get your message across.
